Red Verdon

RV Stewards' Report - Red Verdon

Racing Victoria (RV) Stewards can advise that the Ed Dunlop-trained Red Verdon was examined by stable and RV veterinarians at approximately 4.15pm today, Friday, 19 October after stable connections advised they had precautionary scans completed of the near fore leg of the horse. The horse had dermatitis of the forelimbs which had caused mild inflammation.

Following examinations by both stable and RV veterinarians today, they have passed the horse fit to start in the Stella Artois Caulfield Cup tomorrow, Saturday, 20 October.

As a further precaution, Red Verdon will also be re-examined on course prior to tomorrow’s race.
