Racing Victoria (RV) advises that it will convert four races in November to highweight races, to provide riders with additional race riding opportunities in the lead up to December’s Jericho Cup.
Two races will be converted at Moe on Thursday, 22 November with another two converted at bet 365 Park Kyneton on Thursday, 29 November.
The addition of these four highweight races follows RV’s announcement in October of additional highweight races programmed at Kilmore (Monday, 8 October), Stawell (Monday, 22 October), Kilmore (Monday, 12 November) and Mornington (Monday, 19 November) to assist riders in their preparations for the Jericho Cup.
The Jericho Cup will be held at Warrnambool Racecourse on Sunday, 2 December 2018. It will be run over 4600m and carries prizemoney of $300,000.
