The twilight race meeting which was originally scheduled to be held at Ladbrokes Park Hillside (Sandown) on Wednesday, 18 December has been transferred to Caulfield Racecourse.
Racing Victoria (RV) has agreed to a request made by the Melbourne Racing Club (MRC) to switch the race meeting between its two metropolitan tracks.
With the track in excellent condition following its annual renovation after the Stella Artois Caulfield Cup, the MRC has decided to give its members and general racing fans the opportunity to attend a twilight race meeting at Caulfield in the build-up to Christmas.
The transfer to Caulfield has prompted one distance change, with the 1300m Maiden Plate now shortened to 1200m.
