Racing Victoria (RV) wishes to advise that tomorrow’s meeting at Ararat (Friday, 6 March) has been transferred to Stawell due to heavy rainfall in Ararat.
RV Stewards inspected the track this afternoon concluding that the track was not suitable for racing and unlikely to dry out before tomorrow.
As such, it was determined the safest course of action would be to switch the eight-race card to Stawell, where the track is currently rated a Soft 5.
Please note that no distance changes are required as a result of the transfer and that all scratchings from the Ararat meeting will be re-instated.
