Racing Victoria (RV) wishes to advise that the three jumps races programmed at Hamilton Racing Club on Sunday, 29 March have been transferred to the meeting at Warrnambool Racing Club on Friday, 27 March.
As a result of the transfer, Hamilton will host two maiden flat races over 1100m and 1300m which had been scheduled for Warrnambool.
The meeting at Hamilton will now comprise six races, with Warrnambool featuring a nine-race card. The steeplechase race at Warrnambool will be conducted on the course proper, rather than through the paddocks.
The decision to transfer the jumps races was taken by RV in consultation with club officials at Hamilton, owing to a section of the track past the winning post which was deemed unsuitable for racing. The flat races at the meeting will not be affected, hence why they are proceeding as planned.
