Racing Victoria (RV) has this morning announced that the race meeting programmed for Bet365 Mildura on Monday, 30 March has been transferred to Swan Hill.
The transfer has been made to reduce the travel required to be undertaken by a majority of participants and officials in light of the protocols in place for the safe continuation of Victorian racing during the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.
As a result of the transfer, the following distance changes have occurred:
- 1000m Maiden Plate reduced to 975m
- 1000m Benchmark 58 Handicap reduced to 975m
- 1400m Maiden Plate reduced to 1300m
- 1400m Benchmark 58 Handicap reduced to 1300m
- 1900m Maiden Plate reduced to 1600m
- 1900m Benchmark 58 Handicap reduced to 1600m
The nomination deadline for the meeting has been extended from 12 noon today until 10am tomorrow (Thursday, 26 March).
