Racing Victoria (RV) wishes to advise of three programming amendments to upcoming meetings at Pakenham (Sunday 19 April) and Geelong (Friday 1 May).
A 3200m BM120 Steeplechase has been added to the program at Pakenham to provide horses with an additional lead up race heading to Warrnambool. To help cater for those horses preparing towards the Grand Annual the distance of the Open Steeplechase on the same program has been increased from 3200m to 3500m.
A further review of the racing program following the condensing of the Warrnambool Carnival sees an amendment to the 3YO 1400m Maiden at Geelong on May 1, which becomes 1700m, with options for 3YOs wanting 1400m remaining at both Bendigo (Sunday 3 May) and Cranbourne (Friday 8 May).
The details for the two races are as follows:
Nominations: close at 12 noon on Monday, 27 April
Acceptances: close at 9:15am on Wednesday, 29 April
