Racing Victoria (RV) veterinarians have this afternoon completed a number of compulsory pre-race veterinary inspections of horses engaged in The Showdown (1200m) to be run this Saturday, 18 April at Caulfield.
The only horse to be re-examined tomorrow, out of the 14 inspected today, is the Ciaron Maher and David Eustace-trained Ideas Man after the colt presented with lameness in the right fore.
The remaining six horses, Beau Rossa, Hybrid Theory, Cornucopia, Miss Kansas (Emergency), Halvoya (Emergency) and Night of Delight (Emergency) are scheduled to be examined tomorrow, Friday 17 April, by RV veterinarians.
RV will provide a further update tomorrow following the completion of all scheduled veterinary inspections.
