Racing Victoria (RV) wishes to advise that tomorrow’s meeting (Wednesday, 12 May) at Sale has been transferred to the turf track at Sportsbet-Pakenham owing to wet weather.
After receiving 30mm of rain overnight, the track was inspected this morning with considerable surface water detected.
With showers continuing this afternoon and additional rain expected tomorrow, the decision was made to transfer the meeting to Sportsbet-Pakenham which is currently rated a Soft 5.
The race fields will remain unchanged however all scratching have been reinstated with trainers having until 7:30am tomorrow to scratch from the meeting.
