Racing Victoria (RV) wishes to advise that from tomorrow (5 November 2021), Friday night racing times will revert back to the previously agreed finish time of 9:45pm.
With attendance prohibited at Victorian racetracks for the majority of October, the race times for the opening month of the 2021-22 night racing season were brought forward by an hour to assist participants.
With the return of crowds now permitted, the start time for all Friday night meetings at The Valley, Cranbourne and Pakenham will be 6:15pm with races scheduled every 30 minutes on the quarter hour.
However, this Friday’s meeting at Sportsbet-Pakenham will begin at 5.40pm due to a race division which has resulted in a nine-race card.
Thursday night meetings at Pakenham from next Thursday, 11 November will begin at 5:45pm and conclude at 9:15pm.
