Racing Victoria (RV) advises that it is retiring its COVID Vaccination Policy and Victorian Local Rule 64D in line with recent changes to Victorian Government orders regarding vaccinated workers.
With effect from 11.59pm (AEST) on Sunday, 26 June 2022, the requirement that persons be vaccinated for COVID to enter RV workplaces and designated licensed premises (racecourses and stables) in Victoria will no longer apply.
RV thanks all within the Victorian racing industry for their adherence to the COVID vaccination orders that have been in place.
It is through the compliance and hard work of all within the industry that racing and training was able to continue in Victoria throughout the COVID pandemic.
