Racing Victoria is committed to supporting retired racehorses and those who partner them and believes that ongoing support and education is one of the keys to ensuring many more happy partnerships are developed. Retired racehorses are the ideal equestrian athlete and with the appropriate care and training can go on to excel in all equestrian disciplines.
Horse Riding Clubs Association of Victoria
The Horse Riding Clubs Association of Victoria (HRCAV) caters for a wide range of riders who enjoy the social aspect of Club membership as well as access to the extensive competition system. There is a Club within reach of most Victorians where you can join like-minded riders for social activities, lessons/rallies and competitions. The HRCAV caters for beginner riders right through to experienced competitors with a level assessment system that ensures you compete against others of similar experience and ability.

The HRCAV currently has 219 member Clubs with 5700 individual members across Victoria and parts of New South Wales.

Pony Clubs Victoria
Pony Club (PC) membership is open to people under 26 years of age, of any riding ability. Ordinary members are those under 17 years of age, whilst Associate Members are those 17 years and under 26 years of age. Membership of Pony Club provides children and young adults with the opportunity to build and develop character, responsibility and consideration for others through their involvement with horses, it also provides members access to the extensive competition system.

In Victoria, there are 204 pony clubs with 6200 individual members.
