Drouin Boxing Day picnic meeting abandoned

Racing Victoria (RV) and Drouin Picnic Racing Club regretfully advise that the Drouin Boxing Day Picnic Raceday has been abandoned due to issues with the track. All-Star Mile start on offer at Magic Millions

Racing Victoria (RV) and Melbourne Racing Club (MRC) have today announced a new partnership with Magic Millions that will see one of the stars of Queensland’s biggest raceday get their opportunity to shine in the 2024 All-Star Mile at Caulfield. The winner of the $3 million Gold Coast Magic Millions 3YO Guineas (1400m) on 13 January 2024 will secure a start in the $4 million All-Star Mile on 16 March 2024. The

Victorian Country Cups Series back in full swing

With the dust now settled on Claidheamh Mor’s emotion charged win in the inaugural Victorian Country Cups Final at Caulfield last month, the race to secure a berth in the 2024 edition is already gathering momentum. Changes to upcoming trials

Racing Victoria (RV) wishes to advise of changes to the upcoming trial schedule. Due to construction works on the sand track at Wangaratta, trials scheduled for Tuesday, 12 December will no longer be held. As a result, trials will now be held on Tuesday, 19 December at Benalla. These will replace the jumpouts scheduled at Benalla on Monday, 18 December. Existing nominations for the Wangaratta trials will not carry over to Benalla, with nominations closing at 12pm on Thursday 14 December.

Expressions of interest (EOI) are now open for the 2024 Apprentice Jockey Intake.
