A second trailer has been aired by the producers of Ride Like A Girl, ahead of the movie’s official release on Thursday, 26 September.
The film, which was supported by Racing Victoria, features a star turn from Teresa Palmer in the role of Michelle Payne, who in 2015 became the first female jockey in history to ride the winner of the Melbourne Cup.
Directed by renowned actress Rachel Griffiths and marking the acting debut of Payne’s brother Stevie, who plays himself, Ride Like A Girl is set to bring the joy of thoroughbred racing and the magic of the Melbourne Cup to a new audience.
