The Victorian Thoroughbred Racing Industry (VTRI) is committed to creating safe and healthy workplaces.

From those transporting or riding our horses, to those working in stables, racing clubs or offices, every person operating within Victorian thoroughbred racing has the responsibility to play their part in creating a safe and healthy workplace.

This VTRI commitment is about us all challenging ourselves to reflect on whether we are helping to create a respectful and positive workplace and taking the time to address any issues that may fall short of our expected behaviours and values.

This isn’t just about doing the right thing, employers have a legal responsibility to ensure they each operate a safe workplace.

With the support of the Australian Trainers Association and the Victorian Jockey Association, Racing Victoria encourages everyone to make a commitment to safe and healthy workplaces.
