The Horse Racing Gallery (formerly Champions: Thoroughbred Racing Gallery) was relaunched on 29 February 2020 following an extensive refurbishment. Originally opened in September 2010 on the eve of the Spring Racing Carnival and the celebrations surrounding the 150th running of the world-famous Melbourne Cup, the Horse Racing Gallery invites you to immerse yourself in the world of Australian Thoroughbred Racing. Celebrate the people and horses who have become household names and achieved induction into the Australian Racing Hall of Fame, as well as those who give all for their love of the horse.
As Australia's only multi-sport museum, the outstanding Australian Sports Museum provides the perfect home to exhibit the amazing collections of the Australian Racing Museum.
