Racing Victoria is a public company which was established in 2001 to provide independent governance of the Victorian thoroughbred racing industry.
Our objectives are to develop, encourage, promote and manage the conduct of thoroughbred racing by encouraging broad participation and sustainably growing the industry’s economic and social value.
The membership of Racing Victoria comprises:
Club members: Country Racing Victoria, Melbourne Racing Club, Moonee Valley Racing Club & Victoria Racing Club
Industry body members: Australian Jumping Racing Association, Australian Services Union (Victorian Branch), Australian Trainers Association (Victorian Branch), Australian Workers Union (Victorian Branch), Media and Entertainment Arts Alliance, Thoroughbred Breeders Victoria, Thoroughbred Racehorse Owners Association, United Voice (Victorian Branch), Victorian Bookmakers Association & Victorian Jockeys Association.
