Five-time Group 1 winner Nature Strip and defending champion Bivouac have been allocated the joint topweight of 58.5kg for this year’s renewal of the Group 1 Seppelt Wines Newmarket Handicap (1200m), one of the feature races on Super Saturday (6 March).

Buchan Cup meeting rescheduled

Racing Victoria (RV) wishes to advise that the Buchan Cup meeting, which was originally programmed for Saturday, 13 February, has been rescheduled for Sunday, 28 March 2021.  The Buchan & Gelantipy Racing Club requested that the meeting be postponed last Friday following the announcement by the State Government that all of Victoria would enter a five-day Stage 4 lockdown. Wagering

Racing Victoria is responsible for licensing bookmakers in Victoria. The licensing and administration of bookmakers is managed through the Wagering Services Department. Wagering Services department deal with all bookmaker inquiries including: bookmaker licensing, stand allocations, and any compliance or regulatory issues.
