RV Stewards' Report - Noel Callow

Racing Victoria (RV) Stewards have issued seven charges against licensed jockey Noel Callow, following an investigation into allegations of breaches of the Rules of Racing. Mr Callow, being a licensed jockey, has been charged with wagering on thoroughbred racing and failing to declare betting accounts. Mr Callow has been charged with breaching Australian Rules of Racing 83(c), 175(gg), 175(k) and 229(1)(h). The

Stewards' Report - Allan Endresz

Racing Victoria (RV) Stewards have today concluded an inquiry into the ownership interests of registered owner Mr Allan Endresz.  During the course of their inquiries, the Stewards established two areas of concern. Firstly, that Mr Endresz is currently an undischarged bankrupt, and secondly, the Stewards have been unable to ascertain nor identify all of the beneficiaries associated with Mr Endresz and his racing syndicates.

Tomorrow's Wangaratta meeting rescheduled to Monday

Racing Victoria (RV) wishes to advise that the race meeting scheduled at Sportsbet-Wangaratta tomorrow (Friday, 5 August) has been rescheduled to Monday, 8 August owing to the impacts of wet weather. RV Stewards inspected the track today (Thursday) and determined it would not be suitable for racing due to surface water. The track received 25mm of rain overnight, taking the total rainfall at Wangaratta in the past 48hrs to 40mm.
