Upgrade your horse to the VOBIS Gold program

Upgrades to the VOBIS Gold program, which offers a wide range of benefits including access to the lucrative Premier Race Series, are open now until Sunday 30 November, 2025. 

VOBIS Gold not only provides eligible horses with the opportunity to compete for over $21 million in prizemoney and bonuses across more than 250 races programmed in Victoria, but also affords the chance to contest the Premier Race Series offering a combined total of $3.4 million each season.

Any horses which were born in 2023 and have been nominated to the VOBIS Silver are now eligible to be upgraded to VOBIS Gold and, provided they are the progeny of a VOBIS Sires stallion, also to the highest tier of the leading incentive program, VOBIS Platinum. 

With close to $3 million redeemed of the more than $5 million in VOBIS platinum vouchers awarded so far, owners and breeders have made the most of the additional windfall on offer to eligible horses.   

The vouchers can be redeemed on the progeny of VOBIS Sires stallions at the Inglis, Magic Millions or NZB sales, with an approved syndicator or to offset the cost of a service fee to a VOBIS Sires stallion. For the first time last year, the vouchers could also be redeemed at Ready to Run sales across Australia and New Zealand. 

Only VOBIS Platinum-nominated horses are eligible to contest the two marquee races on Victorian Owners and Breeders Raceday, the $1 million TBV Vobis Platinum Shown (1200m) for juveniles and the $500,000 VOBIS platinum Guineas (1600m) for three-year-olds.
