Racing Victoria (RV) welcomes the addition of two new directors to the RV Board following today’s announcement by the Minister for Racing.
Peita Duncan and Jonathan Hardwick commence immediately as Directors, each bringing unique credentials and strong relationships built across their respective networks to RV’s experienced board of directors.
Ms Duncan, who had previously served for ten years on the Board of Greyhound Racing Victoria including as Chair, has substantial experience in racing administration, governance, racing integrity and regulatory reform.
Mr Hardwick, current owner and Group Managing Director of the HFH Auto Group, brings more than 25 years of experience across law, agribusiness, manufacturing and the automotive sector.
The pair will serve as Directors until June 2028 while the Minister has also extended the appointments of Mark Player until June 2028 and Paul Guerra until October 2027.
The appointments follow the departure of Deputy Chair Sharon McCrohan from the RV Board in September 2025 after an eight-year term.
RV Chairman, Tim Eddy, welcomed the new appointments: “I welcome Ms Duncan and Mr Hardwick to the RV Board of Directors and congratulate them on their appointments.
“I’d like to acknowledge the Minister for his appointment of two individuals with great experience, networks and strong skillsets who will contribute to the Victorian thoroughbred racing industry.
“Congratulations also to Mark and Paul on the extension of their appointments; I look forward to them both continuing their excellent contributions.
“Finally, I would like to take the opportunity again to thank Sharon McCrohan for her eight years of service to the Victorian thoroughbred racing industry.
“The 2026 Festival of Racing is almost upon us with just eight days until our first Group 1 of the year. I look forward to working with our new Directors during this exciting time.”
