Thursday's Southside Cranbourne meeting transferred to Pakenham

Racing Victoria (RV) and Southside Racing wish to advise that the meeting scheduled for Southside Cranbourne on Thursday, 5 March has been transferred to Southside Pakenham.

The transfer will allow the Cranbourne course proper an extra week of recovery ahead of the remainder of the night racing season, in which the track is scheduled to host seven race meetings prior to the end of April.

The transfer will also provide the surface with an extra week of recovery leading into the next meeting it hosts on behalf of the Moonee Valley Racing Club (MVRC) on Friday, 13 March, which features the finals of The Valley Summer Sprint series (1200m), The Valley Summer Middle Distance series (2025m) and Ladbrokes 55 Second Challenge series (955m).

One distance change is required as a result of the transfer, with the updated program as follows:

All other details, including nomination and acceptance deadlines, remain unchanged.
