VOBIS Silver Nominations Close 31 May

VOBIS Silver is the first step in the VOBIS program offering over $12 million in bonuses each season.   Nominations to VOBIS Silver for 2024 born foals close on Sunday, 31 May 2026.

The VOBIS Silver bonuses are offered to 1st, 2nd and 3rd places and paid to the VOBIS nominator, owner, trainer and jockey, across all two-year-old and three-year-old TAB races, plus 2000m & up maidens, 

VOBIS Silver is the gateway to even greater riches, with horses nominated to VOBIS Silver eligible to upgrade, with a grand total of $21 million on offer to horses upgraded to the VOBIS Gold program and $30 million (including vouchers) up for grabs for horses upgraded to VOBIS Platinum.

You can nominate in one of two ways:

Online via myhorseracing (Racing Australia); or

By completing the Nominate via Form and emailing it to vobis@racingvictoria.net.au

Eligibility for the VOBIS Silver program is based on one of the following criteria:

Victorian Sired (Category A) $660 (inc. GST): When a yearling is sired by a stallion standing in Victoria during the 2023 breeding season.

Victorian Breedback (Category B) $1,320 (inc. GST): When a yearling is not eligible for Victorian Sired (A) and its dam was served the following season by a Stallion standing in Victoria.

Victorian Breeder (Category C) $1,980 (inc. GST): When a yearling is not eligible for Category A or B but is at least 50 per cent owned by a Victorian-based breeder(s) at the time of the foal’s birth. In addition, the foal and dam must each have resided in Victoria for at least six continuous months after the foal was born in 2024, until the time of nominations closing.
