Tuesday’s Sportsbet-Ballarat Synthetic meeting transferred to Horsham

Racing Victoria and the Ballarat Turf Club wish to advise that the meeting scheduled for Sportsbet-Ballarat on the synthetic track on Tuesday, 19 May has been transferred to Horsham.

The synthetic track has recently undergone a full resurface and the supplier has advised that the track requires some additional time for consolidation and settling before it is ready to return to racing, which the Club has accepted.

The synthetic meeting at Sportsbet-Ballarat on Tuesday, 9 June will proceed as scheduled.  

Four distance changes are required as a result of the transfer, with the updated program outlined below.

Nominations have been re-opened and horses can enter as normal entries until 4pm today. The acceptance deadline of 9:15am tomorrow (Friday, 15 May) remains unchanged.
