Saturday’s Sportsbet Wangaratta meeting moved to Monday

Racing Victoria (RV) and the Wangaratta Turf Club wish to advise that the meeting at Sportsbet Wangaratta on Saturday 4 July has been moved to Monday 6 July due to the condition of the track.

The Wangaratta surface has received 25mm of overnight rain and with further forecast today, the track is unlikely to be suitable for racing on Saturday.

Monday will now see two race meetings held in Victoria with Wangaratta to be run alongside the Pakenham Synthetic meeting.

Acceptances for Monday’s Wangaratta meeting will now be taken at 9am tomorrow, Friday 3 July. Any trainer that has currently accepted for the meeting but doesn’t wish to run on Monday will need to cancel their acceptance.
