RV Stewards' Report - Jarrod Olsen

Racing Victoria (RV) Stewards have concluded an investigation into the conduct of registered Stable Employee, Jarrod Olsen, and charged Mr Olsen with three offences, pursuant to AR 228(b), and AR 232(b) which states the following:

AR 228 Conduct detrimental to the interests of racing 


A person must not engage in: 

(b) misconduct, improper conduct or unseemly behaviour; 


A summary of the particulars of the charges is as follows:

Charge 1 - AR 228 (b)

  • Between 9 December 2020 and 16 February 2021, whilst registered as a Stable Employee, Mr Olsen engaged in improper conduct or unseemly behaviour by sending harassing SMS messages to a registered Stable Employee.

Charge 2 - AR 228 (b)

  • Between 11 January 2026 and 31 March 2026, whilst registered as a Stable Employee, Mr Olsen engaged in improper conduct or unseemly behaviour by using Facebook Messenger to send harassing messages to a registered Stable Employee.

AR 232 Failure to observe processes and directions of PRAs or Stewards; 

A person must not: 

(a) fail or refuse to comply with an order, direction or requirement of the Stewards or an official; 

Charge 3 - AR 232 (b)

  • On 4 April 2026, whilst registered as a Stable Employee, Mr Olsen failed to comply with the direction of the Stewards as issued to him on 2 April 2026.

The charges issued against Mr Olsen will be heard before the Victorian Racing Tribunal on a date to be fixed.
