Sunday’s bet365 Echuca meeting transferred to Sportsbet Ballarat Synthetic

Racing Victoria (RV) wishes to advise that the meeting at bet365 Echuca this Sunday, 9 August has been transferred to Sportsbet Ballarat Synthetic.
The Echuca track is currently rain affected with Sunday’s forecast predicting up to 30mm of additional rain at Echuca.
Accordingly, it was determined that transferring the eight-race program to the Sportsbet Ballarat Synthetic track was the most appropriate course of action due to the likely impact of the forecast rain and the absence of suitable turf venues as transfer options.
Nominations for the Sportsbet Ballarat Synthetic meeting have re-opened and will close at 9am tomorrow (Thursday, 6 August) with any additional nominations treated as normal entries.
Acceptances for the meeting will close at 11am tomorrow (Thursday, 6 August) with one distance change required as a result of the transfer. The updated program is as follows:
