Racing Victoria (RV) wishes to advise that the Yarra Valley meeting scheduled for next Tuesday, 16 January has been transferred to Cranbourne owing to the impacts of wet weather.
RV Stewards inspected Yarra Valley late yesterday after the track had received 94mm of rain in the last 10 days.
Multiple sections of the track were deemed unsuitable for racing, so the decision was made to transfer in the interests of horse and participant safety.
Acceptances for the transferred meeting have been extended until 11am today (Friday, 12 January). The rail will be in the true position on Tuesday.
As a result of the transfer, the updated program and distance changes are as follows:
