RAD Board - David Wrout

Victorian stable employee David Wrout has been convicted and disqualified for 10 weeks at this morning’s Racing Appeals and Disciplinary (RAD) Board hearing into a charge laid by Racing Victoria Stewards.  

Mr Wrout was charged with a breach of AR 175(q) which states:

The Principal Racing Authority (or the Stewards exercising powers delegated to them) may penalise: Any person who in their opinion is guilty of any misconduct, improper conduct or unseemly behaviour.

The charge related to a physical altercation involving Mr Wrout which took place at the Geelong Racing Club training facilities on Tuesday, 24 May 2016.

Mr Wrout’s 10 week disqualification will expire at midnight on Wednesday, 1 February 2017.
