The Racing Appeals and Disciplinary Board will hear an appeal by apprentice jockey Patrick Pilley at 9.00am on Tuesday, 29 November 2016.
Mr Pilley has lodged an appeal against the decision of the stewards and severity of the penalty imposed when he was found guilty of a charge of careless riding on his mount He’s Henry in Race 6, the Stirloch BM58 Handicap (1014m) at Moe on Tuesday, 22 November 2016.
Mr Pilley had his permit to ride in races suspended for a period to commence at midnight on Wednesday, 23 November 2016 and to expire at midnight on Wednesday, 30 November 2016 – a total of 8 race meetings.
A stay of proceedings was granted effective to midnight on Monday, 28 November 2016.
