Werribee race times adjusted due to hot weather forecast

Racing Victoria (RV) wishes to advise of changes to race times at Werribee on Monday, 30 December 2019 due to hot weather forecast for the region.

Following advice from the Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) that the forecast is expected to reach 42 degrees towards 4pm, the race times have been brought forward two hours to avoid the hottest part of the day.

The meeting will now begin at 10.30am and conclude at 2.00pm.

RV’s Procedure for Racing in Hot Weather Policy is enacted at all meetings where hot weather conditions are forecast to ensure the health and wellbeing of horses and participants.
