Caulfield Cup veterinary examinations

Racing Victoria (RV) veterinarians have today concluded their inspections ahead of tomorrow’s Carlton Draught Caulfield Cup (2400m).

The Murray Baker and Andrew Forsman trained Quick Thinker was withdrawn by the stable this morning due to a tendon issue. First emergency Great House (Chris Waller) has now gained a start.

She’s Ideel and The Chosen One were both inspected today and passed fit to race.

The Ben and JD Hayes trained Port Guillaume, who was re-inspected today by veterinarians after initially presenting with lameness yesterday, was also passed fit to race after showing strong signs of improvement.
